  • Emmett Cherry Festival (Emmett): Held in June, celebrating cherries, with parades and contests. 

  • Idaho Spud Day (Shelley): Celebrating the state’s famous potato crop; potato-themed events and parade. 

  • Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic (Boise): Hot-air balloon festival typically end of August/early September in Boise. 

  • Trailing of the Sheep Festival (Hailey / Ketchum / Sun Valley): A fall festival with sheep-herding tradition, wool events, etc. 

  • Winter festivals: eg. McCall Winter Carnival (McCall) with snow sculpting and winter activities.
